meh reaver stance barb will die quicker than whatever more time determination would give and wont be able to see high stacks of reave stance much without "without warning"

determination can only be useful in few "paused" pve fights

I recently rolled a barb cause it was the only class i missed . There are 3 men i'd get advice from : Tyyr Sarcopthes Lohar , while the rest are barbies , these 3 are barbs

But on topic, without warning and bone shatter is my choice in reaver build but with blood rage stance. Dmg is there and its pretty high, no need for extra reaver stance to make it awesome
