Wow this thread is funny to read. Why people want t4 gear? Hmmm...it is not just to raid. It is the op gear in the game. The weapons are beast mode bbq sauce win. And if you are a casual player that just likes to pvp you will never have them. If you are part of a pvp guild that doesn't raid...or you are in a smaller guild that doesn't have the numbers to raid...you will never have that gear. Being in a large guild isn't always for everyone...and raiding 20hrs out of the week isn't either.

Get rid of dragon tears completely from the game.

Let me exchange a certain number of rares for simple relics.

Allow weapons,capes, rings and neck to be bought with simple relics.

Or...introduce T4 pvp gear that is better than t4 pve gear for pvp. All pvp gear is basically soloed.

So you really preffer to do single instances instead of joining your friends on TS, have fun, chat, tell each other jokes and s**t???

Because, obviously, it's impossible to do both. It's a well known thing that you have to choose of doing ONLY solo ever or ONLY group ever. Ho wait ! It isn't the case !

And many people actually enjoy to possibility of doing solo instance from time to time, when their friend isn't around, or when they don't have time to do bigger group stuff, generally more time-consuming. Well you have all the very quick run like Palace or Vortex, but think about all the others like Atzel, Pillar or so, you have to think that you need much more time to gather a group and clean them than the "20 minutes top" four solo instance than we have now. (Dead Man, Isle of Iron Statues, Forgotten city and Refuge... I barley accept Breach and Slaugtherhouse since they are neither fun nor rewarding. I don't care if I don't get good reward after a solo instance, but then it has to be fun, otherwise you never do it. If it's not that fun but has like two or three token at the end, sometime you're like "Ok, I have 20min, let's to this one, it has been a long time, it wasn't that bad).

Point is sometime it's refreshing to do a bit solo content, and it can be a good way for your alt toon to test some buiild a bit, grind a few gear/moa/token/reward and sometimes it's just enjoyable to play like half an hours on these. I like them. The argument "hurr durr just play a solo game, then" is just retarded because we don't only play AoC for the group, but also for the gameplay and the class, the story, the aesthetic and and the lore. And one can definitely love BOTH the group content and the solo content.

you wont have to worry about pvp gear in the future, if that's your concern.

otherwise, L2P or QQ about something else. you don't have to be an uber elite guild to do T4. it's called raid gear for a reason. you just need a group of people willing to put in a little time to learn an instance and pay attention for a little while.

no one makes people like you stay in little guilds that cant do any high level raiding, you chose to do that on your own, and part of the consequences of your decision are that you can't raid. people with t4 gear earned it, and all i see is a bunch of QQ from people who aren't willing to put in the time and effort to acquire it for themselves. making it soloable = giving it to you. might as well put it on sale in the store.

When we first did T4 we would spend 4 nites, 2 hours each (8 hours total). Now a full clear of T4 takes about 3-4 (depending on the level of fail in the raid) hours. In fact our alt raid is now on Entity and they only have had 2 nites a week to work on it. So soon we will get T4 done twice a week in 6-8 hours..

No way on this 20 hour nonsense.

Well I would love to see a random pug on Zoo or Emperor. that's not happening.. First 3 yeah thats do able. (sheng doors will be a stopper for awhile).

only about a handful of players ever see t4, which is a shame because a lot of nice vanity/mounts drop from t4 and a lot of cool fights and quest wrap ups are in t4. I always tell my guildies (small guild) they shouldn't really get khitai for raiding purposes because they'll probably never see any of it.

I have never ever seen a single t4 pug raid on global and if you say differently I think you're wrong because I play every night on peak hours and have never seen or heard a t4 raid pug on global. Basically, in this game (in terms of the mmo side) if you aren't part of RA RN RBC ABC TUH ZORK or one of the elite raiding guilds you'll never get to see or do half the content(arguably the best parts). This is just poor gameplay design. Disagree with me?... well I say, "scoreboard".. look at your non-existent server merged after server merged population.

AoC has a lot of potential in terms of combat mechanics and other core aspects of the game. (Gaute really was a visionary in this aspect) but somehow someway things along the way became much less visionary and stale bread MMO.
TSW actually fixed a lot of these things but the core aspects are utter nonsense compared to AoC. Anyhow, hoping for the best.

T4 is RAID ie 24 man gear.. Logic fail on solo purchase.

Raid gear only coz there is no other way to earn it

I think T3 was nerfed with intentions of making T3 gear common so T5 raid could be created
But that didnt happen and T2 gear is still the common gear
Introduction of T5 gear with T2 gear as common gear would bad for business thats why new raid in DS is intended to be T3.5 12 man raid although it might change to T5 but i doubt it will be t5 with crafting revamp in production
Crafting revamp is the answer of FC to LfR like mechanics of other MMOs like WoW, LOTRO etc
