Thread: Quests required to learn Atlantean Language

Question Quests required to learn Atlantean Language

What quests are required as precursors to the HoC quest where you have to read all of the walls? Looked in the Wiki and the information seems to be incorrect as the first NPC does not have a quest for that, and the 2nd NPC doesn't exist.

    Thanks,

You have to do several runs in HoC killing the Bosses and getting the Atlantean shards. If you "consume" 8 of them you will be able to read and understand the Atlantean inscription in HoC.

Alternatively you can buy those shards from the trader but they will cost you some gold!

    Alanza in Shaulun
    or
Quest which you can pick up at end of Ardashir's Fort

I think that's where you get the quest to start reading the walls in HoC. Then you have to get the Atlantean Fragments that drop off the bosses in HoC.

If you mean the quest to read like 10 walls, then you get it right after you get the scrolls for Alanza (http://forums-eu.ageofconan.com/showthread.php?t=171012).

The "storyline", such as it is, used to start in a hidden corner of Ai District (with Alanza's diary). You'll track her down and she'll want you to find the 5 scrolls hidden in Paikang Districts for her boss Ankh Ausar in Khemi. Then Ankh Ausar will want you to go to House of Crom and bring him Atlantean writings. The quest that requires you to get fragments and learn language is this. However you don't actually need any quests to eat those fragments and read the writings.

But since Dragon Spine launched, Ankh Ausar moved over there. He still has a butler in Khemi though, quests probably still work the same as before. All this is pretty cool actually, the Stygian archeologists is only dynamic bit of questing content we've ever had in this game (for a given value of dynamic).
