    Lightbulb Gaming addiction reminder

    There is some of you out there that fall into this category, take this into consideration and know there is options and people irl and ingame that care and will support you. To those that can balance it, have fun and enjoy!

    Lol... If you are "addicted" to an MMO, you probably already had mental health issues to begin with. Thanks for the info though.

    P.S.

    It IS just a game, and you aren't addicted to it, you are addicted to escapism. The MMO is just an outlet, and 20 years ago would likely have been replaced with something else.

    Like TV.

    That's another point too... a lot of people that look down on and label MMO gamers as "Addicts" spend 8-10 hours a day watching TV... I'd rather interact with my media than be spoon fed garbage and commercials... what's worse?

    I am too casual to get addicted. Oh, wait. I am a casual addict!

    Only Guild Wars 2 had the Terms of Service with a definite rule against addiction. If you plan on being addicted there, you cannot agree to the terms and play the game.
    • Remove daily rewards and the raid finder;
    • remove membership bonuses;
    • disable PVE XP for daily challenges;
    • remove WBs forever on Crom;
    • slow down the AA gain;
    • lower the PVP XP gain or remove the streak system;
    • remove AoE looting;
    • add the missing mobs back to Khesh., F. of the Dead, and Eigl. Mount.;
    • fix the 250+ms ping;
    • take the key away from Saddur;
    • revert T3, T3.5 (10.21.15), T4 (10.21.15), and GGG changes;
    • remove energy and add skills (like taunt) back.

    Some people intend to engange in doing something to devote all their free and some of their sleep or work time for that. But yes, I do not see a possible addiction to Guild Wars 2.

    This is a thread I believe should be posted more often. Games are fun but so is real life. I am young now and able to do crazy stuff irl so i am focusing on that.

    We have to thank FC that they don't raise the level cap and shower us with content updates, so we can log in less often - just to do stuff we like the best
