    Default Trivia

    Taken from the old forum.

These questions intend to stimulate both the veteran and free-to-play cliques to find answers to some things that they may not know. To be honest, I know the detailed answers only to six of these.

Update: I answered 9 since no one could find the pet quest. Added 1 more Q&A about horse dances (13).

    1. Q. Where are PvP arenas located?
    A. Kheshatta City, Khemi, and your guild city with level 7 renown wherever it is (descend into the cellar to find it). (Answered by Chaman-bourru)

    2. How can you go on a Scavenger Hunt? (A group quest to win a jackpot).
There is a some sort of a tavern in a guild city that you have to sponsor.

    3. Q: From what level can you participate in PvP minigames and in open-world PvP?
A: Minigames: at level 6, open-world: 6(?)-20(?)[To be updated] (Answered by Shani and Shaday).

    4. Q: When do you get your first PvP gear (at what PvP and PvE level)?
A: PvP level 1, PvE level 20. You can get rings and a necklace. (Answered by Shaday).

    5. Q: How do you participate in horse racing?
A: Go to the horse racing track in Old Tarantia. The horse racing track is located to the left on the path down to the Conarch Village traveller from Old Tarantia. (Answered by Shani, Corybb, and ArcaneScientius.)

    6. Q: How do you participate in a cussing contest?
A: The quest is given in the cellar below your guild city by an NPC. It is located in the keep to the left as you enter (there is a trapdoor on the floor), but it is only available starting from the guild city level 6 renown. It is called a cultural retreat. (Answered by Shani.)

    7. Q: What is the difference between the horse for 200 gold and a common level 80 horse?
A: Protection, life, speed, and sprinting time. (Answered by Shaday).

    8. Q: Where can one learn more dances?
A: In Khemi near the traders, in Conarch Village, in Old Tarantia, and in the Gate to Khitai, certain NPCs give quests to obtain them. Money is required. [to be updated with names, locations, and at what level they are available]. (Answered by Shaday).

    9. Q: How does one get a Soilirrion (or it was Sillirion) pet?
A: The emissary on the silk road may give you a quest to kill 500 crater spawns, loot 500 bags, kill 100 nightmare bubbles, search for some clues.

    10. Q: What bosses can you summon at the Turan arena? At what level?
    A: 50 - 4 bosses; 80 - 2 bosses.

    11. Q: How can you obtain some rare gem recipes?
A: By going to villas in Tarantia Noble district, or you can kill a group boss that can be summoned in the Tarantia Commons by waiting for twenty-two or twenty-three area messages, kill any rebels who leave the doors, leave the last group intact, and follow it to the square where you can kill the spawned boss. (Answered by Shaday and updated with details by Alandalara).

    12. Q: Where can you buy a path to your guild city?
A: From the priestess in your guid city temple. (Answered by Shani).

    13. Q: Where can you teach your horse to dance?
A: In your guild city with a proper renown level at the stableman.

    14. Q: Where can I buy rotten cabbage?
A: Top guilds can access something in Old Tarantia (not sure).

    Q. WTF is going on with all stuff in chat window?
    A. The default arrangement of chat window is terrible and must be rearranged. If you right click inside the window, you can choose which channels will be displayed on the active tab (subscribe to channels option). If you click on * above chat window, you can create a new tab. If you right click on a tab's name, you can delete/rename or do other things to it. If you drag the tab's name, you can change their order or move them out as a seperate chat window. Mess with all these options until you have something you like.

    Q. What channels are important?
    A. Global channel is visible to everyone on your server. It's where most communication (or trolling) takes place. Looking For Group LFG channel is also visible to everyone but it's presumably used for its true purpose. New Player Help NPH channel is also visible to everyone and it exists to (*drumroll*) help new players. Ask your questions about the game there, Global may not be very full of help. There's also regional channels Cimmeria/Stygia/Aquilonia but no one uses them (at least on Crom server). Guild, Group, Raid channels work as you'd expect. Say "channel" (for lack of a better term) is very local and visible to only players who're near you.

    Q. What channel am I talking on?
    A. When you're typing your message, the channel it'll be on will be displayed next to it in brackets, such as
    [Global] trololo(blinking cursor)
You can change it by clicking on the name of another channel (if it's visible in chat window), right clicking chat window and choosing from Talk to Channel menu, or typing the name of the channel with a slash so it looks like
    [Global]/guild trololo(blinking cursor)
Half a second spent looking at this before pressing enter will save you from baring your most intimate erp moments to everyone you play with.
