    Default PoM levelling build/advice

Does anybody have a good levelling build for PoM?

Any advice/general strategies for levelling as a PoM?

    Solo leveling?

0-29: http://goo.gl/4Q8nV (Go for Lance first)
At 30: http://goo.gl/v7EqO (Searing Light is the next feat to get)
59: http://goo.gl/nm8AF (spend leftover points in Unyielding wrath once at 60)
70: http://goo.gl/jZOhZ (You could switch some stuff around there)

80: http://goo.gl/pObgv (Few buttons to press, nice dps and supply of mana)
http://goo.gl/4oYLO (Harder on mana, more buttons, more fun imo)

Advice? Buy mana pots, always have mana pots!

Smart rotation of spells, ccs and heals will let you grind mobs pretty fast.

Pre-cast green heal (when/if you dont have revivication). Pull with a smite or lance if you have it. Nuke one more time before they arrive to start hitting you, Repulse, Cleaning Fire, Mitras Searing Eye, Instant Smite, Lance(or Smite). This should let you handle 2-3 mobs of same level easily.

Work your way to pulling more mobs using Repudiate, single target ccs and bubble once you have them. After a successfull CF-MSE-SS rotation, repudiate and reposition, nuke while they are closing, using lance or MSE, always target the one furthest away as best you can. Soon you will be handling 5-6 mobs with ease.

PS: Leveling a pom was so much more fun before the revamp, MSE exploding mobs galore.

Most importantly, if this is your first Character in Age of Conan, take the time to learn each new innate ability gained at certain levels. Find out what it does and get a feel for it by using it actively.

Example not to be followed: Back in 2009, my PoM was my first char in my first MMO. I leveled to 80 hardly ever using my bubble or repudiate.

I started my PoM as level 50 and went straight to Div/Gen healbotting - it was hard to recover from this and start playing normally.

This was maybe not stressed enough - repositioning and switching targets is very important.

Lance of Mitra and Mitra's Searing Eye deal column damage, so you have to get mobs in line and target the farthest one to deal damage to all of them. When you cast spells with splash damage like Smite, it's good to target the one in the middle when they're close. So when you cast Repulse and they all lie on the ground you can easily switch position to get a better hit.

I am a returning player, and last time i played pve with pom,i think i had the old school Div/Gen spec like Misiuggah said.
Guess i wont be needing General anymore (unless maybe for a bit protection and/or armor.)dont see people using it much.

    In group/raid based builds i ask :

-Is Divine Lance still an option for healing/dps,or just stick to lance only?

-Light of mitra is a no go also? Should stick to Purification of Mitra for the dps/dot?

General has some useful things, but only very specific situations can justify loosing points in Div or Ven. I use it only for protection/hp only on 3 bosses where it's important and you can't really dps (Entity, Bat, Lurker).

IMO if you want to use LoM you should go all the way and spec Divine Lance - with good crit gear you can produce really very nice heals. It's a reasonable alternative until you get ~2000 heal rating - after that I prefer sticking with AA heals and Purifiaction of Mitra. Without Divine Lance you're just putting 5 points to get column damage, which is not really needed on boss fights.

I don't remember the exact numbers for Light, but they were pretty crappy. If you will be speccing Divine Lance, you will probably miss Purification anyway.

If you won't be speccing Lance, then it's better to get Sacred Smite and Purification of Mitra.

Solid build if you will be able to manage your mana

I'm running something like this right now. The fun part of having Blessing of Mitra is that you can kill dpsers if you cast it on them in the beginning of the fight
