Update 3.2.3 introduced the new PvP respawn mechanic for mini-games, sieges as well as open-world PvP. There is an issue with the Shield of the Risen not working as intended after the update so we will activate the permanent version of Shield of the Risen again in the follow up update currently planned for early next week. This is a temporary fix for the issue and we are working on the actually intended Shield of the Risen which will change the mechanic so that the shield wears off after a set amount of time. As soon as that change will be ready and tested, we will deploy it to the live servers, probably sometime next week.

We will also keep on monitoring the input and feedback from players about the new PvP respawn mechanic to see if there might be additional tweaks and improvements necessary. So please keep on posting your input on this topic on the forums. We will then gather the facts and make sure it’s made available to the developers for further investigation.


The end of the month already draws near and this also means the next Monthly Development Update is just around the corner. Expect it to be out on Tuesday, 28th of February. This time it will shed some (or even ‘a lot’) of light on the planned revamp of the crafting system.
