Since the Easter Holidays are coming up we post the weekly update a day earlier this week.

The testing of Update 2.2 is still ongoing. The feedback so far from testers about the new Paikang team instances T'ian'an and Ai have been very good. Both have been mentioned to be fun to play while still providing a challenge. Some tweaks and adjustments including ironing out some reported issues are of course also part of the ongoing testing and improving, which is exactly the idea of making such content additions available on the test servers in the first place . If you haven't already, you might want to check out these new instances on the test servers yourself. The entrance to those can be found in the sewers right next to the Insurrection camp in Paikang.

The first part of the Faction Progression Revamp and the Crowd Control changes mentioned in the last Monthly Development Update have now also been made available on the test servers yesterday. The changes done to the Faction Progression are aimed to firstly help smooth out and significantly improve the speed of faction progression, and then, just as importantly, to open things up, increase the rewards, and allow you to do more different things, rather than repeat the same thing again and again. This basically means that the faction quests will have a cooldown to avoid letting them give a feeling of 'grind' to a player. And the rewards for these quests have significantly been increased so you will gain much higher rewards every time you do them.

For more information about the Faction Progression Revamp and the Crowd Control changes please check out the threads on the testlive forums which describe the changes done in more detail (Faction Progression Changes and Crowd Control Revamp). You can also discuss these changes and your input on the testlive forums.
