This week the technical part of the team has been putting in a lot of extra hours to push through the final stages of the Dreamworld update. We have deployed another new version to the test server and are now getting close to a release candidate. There are probably still a couple of weeks testing to do, but the signs are promising. Much of this testing is very time intensive, monitoring memory usage, gauging performance and logging a lot of hours to see where and when the updates are working and where they aren't.

One thing we wanted to confirm today, so that it doesn't freak too many out when the time comes, is that this update will reset your preferences, as many graphic settings have changed completely, some have been removed, replaced or updated. The settings will be 'different' and most users will most likely have to play around some until they find the settings they prefer with the new system. We know some people dislike change in that respect, but with the overhaul under the hood we will have to reset things to the new default values.

Lastly, next week we are planning to publish this month's development update, and in it we will be discussing the three new solo instances that are coming in the current content series. We haven’t talked in too much detail about these areas so we wanted to give you all some insight into what is coming up there, so keep your eyes peeled!
