This is a fairly quiet week in production as the majority of the team is on their vacation. However there are a couple of things being looked at by those who are holding down the fort during these summer weeks. We are preparing a small update that contains some important anti-exploit code. Obviously with it being related to cheating, we can't go into too many details, but it is important to highlight that we take any new developments in the attempts of a minority to cheat other genuine players very seriously. Pending testing we hope to be able to deploy the new code version next week. We fight an ongoing battle against those that try and re-invent the ways in which they try to cheat other players, so when a new variety surfaces, as it has in the last week, we feel it is vitally important to address it as soon as possible. Thankfully it is a small minority who chose to abuse things in this way, but that makes it all the more important for us to take action against it to try and ensure as level a playing field as we can for genuine players.

We have also completed some improvements and adjustments to some of the higher tier raid encounters, specifically the Keeper of Artifacts and the Jade Citadel encounters. We have made some changes so that the difficulty of these encounters will not be as random (because, if you were unlucky, some of the combinations made the encounters far harder than intended, and possibly virtually impossible), we also resolved several visibility issues with particles in the Keeper encounter. These changes won't be in next week's potential update, as that is just for the code updates, but will be in the next available data update to the live servers.
