Just for the sake of answering the OP, Spellweaving is like a casting "mode" you enter that can be toggled on or off with a 10 sec recast.
From my experience, it works best in group situations and can be useful when solo once you get the hang of it, but having not tried it in a PvP situation I can't vouch either way for that.
While spellweaving you choose between 5 beneficial effects:
1. Frontal cone knockback
2. All spells will land for the high end of your damage range
3. All spells will crit at the cost of 300% mana use
4. Stamina regen bonus (this is actually useful when weaving)
5. Fire-based ticking AOE
The spell damage and crit options both have recasts so they can't be used twice in a row. The whole trick to spellweaving is being able to survive by standing in one place (you are rooted) and keeping your stamina / hp high enough. Once your stamina runs out, you start to drain health, and can die from spellweaving easily if you aren't careful.
I'm pretty new to spellweaving so I have probably left a few details out, but from what I can tell it's a pretty unique and worthwhile feature.
